As human beings, we will shrink in size as we age, most noticible in our elder years. But, what we are talking about here is a Chat Channel based on history, not a chat channel that IS history. There was a time when we were vital, robust, able to take on other history-related chats with one bot tied in the corner. Now we limp along like ol wounded gladiators, having had our day in the glory, or time in the sun, only to be referred to as a has-been, and wanna be. I tell you I will not go down without a fight, I will not go down, in fact.
Recently we experienced an influx of new blood from both KAOS -due to Sloth- and sca.tribe.net -due to SummerStorm-. But isn't there something more we can do here, my friends and compatriots? Matt, I am sure, and I have been submitting the web sites to spiders and search bots so we can be found better/easier in searchs, I have mentioned us everywhere I go, not in RL, where people forget so easily, but on sites like 'MySpace, ClassMate.com, that whole menagerie of critters that have found themselves inb a more-or-less growth of 'Im lonely, find me' web sites and services.
I think I've even prostituted myself on some of them, I'm not sure, but maybe. I feel so dirty after posting on some of these sites, a million bed bathes by even the cutest Aide will never wash away the stench I have about me.Ulfie
